Spairliners is a joint venture between Air France Industries and Lufthansa Technik. The company offers a comprehensive component support solution for A380 and E-Jet operators. The services include the provisioning and management of the spare parts inventory and overhaul and repair of components, together with the appropriate logistics. Overall Spairliners guarantees the availability of aircraft components where and when required. Founded in 2005, the company is headquartered in Hamburg; warehousing is located in Paris. Tasks

Would you like to drive the success of Spairliners with an outstanding support of our Data Engineering team?

This is your opportunity to join our multicultural and dynamic team in the beautiful city of Hamburg as Intern in our Innovation, Data and Quality department.

Your main task will be to contribute to a harmonization, which includes organizing and standardizing the data flow between different systems and processes You will gain hands-on experience by working with the data team and have the opportunity to learn about the specific technologies.

 

• Analyze our current data lineage and ETL processes  
• Migrate to a Fabric-enabled Power BI workspace to modernize data architecture. 
• Propose improvements 
• Support our daily activities and working with Scrum 
• Implement, test and document the changes 

 

Requirements

 

• Degree in computer science, business informatics or a comparable qualification. 
• University enrollment
• Knowledge of Data Visualization tools such as Power BI / Tableau 
• Proficiency in Python; knowledge of SQL and/or R is a plus. 
• Knowledge of the Microsoft Azure Data Platform and Databricks is a plus  
• Excellent analytical skills as well as good communication and cooperation skills
• English business level skills, French and/or German is a plus  

Office presence is required, at least 2 days per week in our Hamburg office.
