Are you a translator (DE-EN, EN knowledge at a native level) with an interest in technical topics? Are you interested in working with a wide range of text types and turning draft technical texts into compelling customer communications? If so, you could be the ideal person to join our dSPACE Language Services team, which consists of 3 people.

• Translating and proofreading various types of text from all departments into English: technical articles, corporate communications, product information, etc.
• Proofreading software and hardware manuals and user interface text
• Terminology work in collaboration with our terminology experts
• Advising non-native English speakers (e.g., technical authors, engineers) on everyday language issues
• Writing and maintaining style guides and tool/process documentation

• Translator preferably with work experience in technical texts, or a graduate engineer with experience in translation work
• Native or near-native speaker of the English language
• Linguistic versatility to meet the requirements of different types of texts
• Experience in terminology work or tools would be beneficial
• Good knowledge of translation software tools, preferably RWS Trados Studio and/or RWS Trados Team
